Our Commercial & Industrial Projects

Commercial Kitchen
Local Market Hall- Burnley- May 25

In a new commercial kitchen installation, we installed new power and lighting throughout the unit. We installed a new 3 phase distribution board with surge protection and a new in line KWh meter. We installed new sockets and isolators for plug-in appliances. The customer also requested that the appliances under the extractor unit were to be shut off in the event of a fire. We therefore installed a global e-stop system with a new contactor panel. We also installed power and isolation to their new extractor unit.

Going Green
Local Charity- Accrington- Jan 25

Working with a local charity, they received a grant to help them become more environmentally friendly. We successfully upgraded the lighting to energy efficient LED panels with motion sensing technology and upgraded the heating systems to more energy-efficient models meeting lot-20 standards. This upgrade enhances the comfort and functionality of the space but also significantly reduces energy consumption, leading to long-term cost savings and a smaller environmental footprint.

New EV charger installation
Local Charity- Accrington- Feb 25

As the world shifts towards more sustainable transportation solutions, the demand for Electric Vehicles (EVs) continues to grow. At a local charity, DWS Electrical Ltd supplied and installed a new EV charger to provide fast, reliable and environmentally friendly charging.

Emergency lighting install
FI Facilities management- Wrexham- Sep 24

We were instructed to supply and install new emergency lighting around this industrial unit to meet current regulations. We carefully planned and installed the system, ensuring all lights were placed in optimal locations to provide comprehensive coverage. We installed new high bay lighting with emergencies, emergency bulkheads and illuminated exit signs. The newly installed emergency lighting system ensures that essential areas, such as hallways, stairwells, exit routes, and common areas, are lit to current UK safety standards in the event of a power failure. This helps prevent accidents, guiding people safely to exits during emergencies.

New distribution board with inline meter
Runcorn industrial unit- Sep 24

Working for FI facilities management, we installed a new distribution board with new electricity meter for a new tenant and ready for the fit out of the unit. The new distribution board is designed to enhance the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the electrical systems, ensuring that the property is better equipped to handle modern energy demands while reducing the risk of electrical issues. The new distribution board also has in built surge protection which is an essential safety component designed to protect electrical equipment from sudden voltage spikes or surges.

Energy monitoring
Safran Burnley - Ongoing

To gain a live picture of the energy consumption across the units we installed and mapped hundreds of CTs (current transformers) to monitor each circuit, zone and machinery. This live consumption data helps them stay ahead and quickly optimise their energy usage, improve their financial performance and reduce their environmental impact.

We also now monitor and provide ongoing maintenance of these devices to ensure there is smooth, consistent and accurate data collection across the site.

Burnley Market Event Space
Burnley Markets- Dec 24

For their new event space in Burnley Market hall, we were instructed to update the consumer units and install functional and secure sockets for the events use only. Power was supplied to either end of the event space for easy and efficient use. This upgrade ensures that they meet current and future energy demands while reducing the risk of electrical hazards. It also includes surge protection which is designed to protect electrical equipment from sudden voltage spikes or surges.

Floodlight replacement
Drayton Manor industrial park- Sep 24

We installed new LED floodlights across the carparks of the industrial estate. The floodlights are equipped with advanced LED technology, which consumes far less power compared to traditional halogen or incandescent lights. The energy-efficient LEDs not only reduce electricity costs but also offer a longer lifespan, requiring fewer replacements and minimizing maintenance.
